Enjoying the Texas Hospitality & HEAT!

Hi! I'm not taking much time to blog this trip as there is just not enough hours in a day! I've posted a bunch of new pictures over on Dropshots and wrote quick captions for some of them so you can see what's going on. Tod, Julia and I are enjoying ourselves SO MUCH! This convention program is incredible and really focuses on practical things to help us cope with life's problems. The new books, ASL DVDs, etc. are AWESOME. That's all I'll say about that since I don't want to spoil anything. Anyhow, the weather's been hot, I've been lovin' it and I hope there are a few more days of warmth back home before the frost comes in 8 weeks (or less!) I've met some wonderful new friends and look forward to visiting with them via email and hopefully in person occasionally too. Take care everyone - time for me to go to bed! Love, Lynetta

Busy at the Building Site!

It's been a busy week down at 7815 Tower Avenue (the site of the new Kingdom Hall)! We've worked on food service, shoveling sand for the foundation, hauling lumber, directing people where to park and all sorts of stuff. This is just the 'pre-build' stuff and we've been ahead of schedule all the way. :) The foundation is done except for the actual slab which will be laid by the end of the week. There has been a lot of interest from neighbors and people in the community which is nice. I've put up LOTS of pictures over on the Dropshots site so enjoy! ~Lynetta
