Yes, this is the Northland in APRIL!

Can you believe this? No, you're not on the shores of the Northern Atlantic - it's Duluth harbor on April 10, 2008! Wind speeds were 45-50mph at the time and it was hard to hold the camera steady - let alone being sprayed with water in 34 degree weather! Hours after this was shot came the heavy wet snow along with the 60+ mph gusts, the downed trees, power outages and drifts. Lights are back on, but the wind isn't subsiding much. The ONLY plus is that we haven't gotten the 11-16 inches predicted. We're looking at only 5-8 or so. Why on earth am I saying only? It is April 11th for crying out loud! Living here makes one crazy I guess.
Take care, stay warm, stay home,
