Convention Day Three Part One
Yesterday was the final day of the convention *sniff sniff 😢. It flew by like no other I’ve been to. Of course we started off the day at the hotel breakfast area -
Cake for breakfast

On the bus we got the final 3 seats, so none of us sat together. I ended up sitting next to a brother from New Jersey - Bobby McQueen. Now brother McQueen told me he wasn’t a morning person and that on the bus Saturday morning one of the friends started singing from the git go. He was tired and wanted to sleep on the way over. Well, not only did that brother get the singing started , he also pulled out a tambourine and gave it to someone who banged it all the way! As other busses of Witnesses passed on the roadway, Bro. Bobby longingly looked over at the passengers sleeping in the windows!
Anyway, the point of this story is that for not being a morning person, he talked nonstop the whole way! 😂
We arrived early (7:25ish I think), picked up our lunches and went in to find seats. We met these lovely sisters from Martinique, who sat in front of us. They gifted me with a little pouch which matched her dress - inside was a pack of Kleenex which I would need later in the day when the crying 😠began.
